Renowned economist and leadership expert, Prof. Stephen Adei, has underscored the importance of performance-driven leadership in corporate growth and sustainability.

He made the remarks at the November (special) edition of the Corporate Prayers and Leadership Training held at the DOR Event Annex in North Kaneshie on Tuesday, 18th November 2025.

According to him, managers who prioritize acquiring resources before demonstrating measurable performance often struggle to deliver real value.

“Managers who focus on acquiring resources before demonstrating performance often fail to add real value. True leadership is about doing the most with what you have, proving your capacity, and earning the support you need to grow,” Prof. Adei stated.

Addressing organizational discipline and productivity, he further noted that the long-term success of any company depends on its ability to enforce high standards.

“For a company to remain strong and successful, it must be willing to part ways with employees who cannot meet performance expectations,” he added.

The event brought together corporate leaders, managers, and professionals seeking to strengthen their leadership skills and align workplace performance with organizational goals.
