As part of extending an impressive gesture of appreciation to the country’s top-performing journalists, Ashanti Foam Ltd. (AshFoam) has celebrated Tobinco Media Group’s Ebenezer Madugu and several other awardees following their exceptional achievements at the 29th GJA Awards.
Madugu, who clinched the prestigious Akoto Ampaw Award for Democracy and Good Governance, received a Queen-Size Jigi Jigi mattress from AshFoam Ghana as part of the company’s commitment to recognizing journalistic excellence.
Other awardees were also honoured with valuable packages including an L-shape sofa chair, and additional gift items. Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Marketing and Communications Manager of AshFoam, Nana Yaw Ampem-Darko Antwi, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting the media fraternity.
He noted that AshFoam remains impressed by the quality and influence of Ghanaian journalism and will continue to prioritize journalist welfare.
President of the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA), Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, expressed profound gratitude to AshFoam, noting that such support was once reserved for only the top three awardees.
“Today, more than 10 awardees benefit from these packages,” he said. “The Association does not take these gestures for granted. We deeply appreciate Corporate Ghana, especially AshFoam, for standing with journalists.”
